Now and Then
I've joined this course to open my mind to the future. As an educational developer in a higher educational institution (and mum of two young 'uns) I'm constantly immersed in the day-to-day minutiae of 'now' and have little time to think about what's coming next.
I'm hoping that this course will give me the opportunity to reflect on what's going on, network with like-minded souls and maybe as a by-product perhaps come up with a plan for my own career.
Having read part 1 of the OECD document on futures in education I'm non the wiser of what's in store, in fact feeling a little overwhelmed that I'm in no position to make changes and direct policy. Hoping the elluminate discussion and other posts move me further forward.
