EdFutures open course

My co-worker Dr. Keith Hamon and I are very excited about joining this course and this conversation. We have followed George Siemens' blog since building our Writing Across the Curriculum program around the idea of using social networking as a writing base in the classroom.

Our approach is fueled by the writings of Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari (A Thousand Plateaus; Anti-Oedipus: Capitalism and Schizophrenia) and their concept of the rhizome as a model for open communication.

How interesting to find a group of fellow travellers.

I've written two papers borrowing from A Thousand Plateaus

And am just about to begin a research project on it.
