Nine Days Left - Live at 2pm Eastern - An easy re-entry into the course and finishing strong with scenarios
Hey folks,
Live today at 2pm Eastern.
It's been a very interesting course so far, we saw a very strong start, and then i think some confusion about what people were expected to do. I've had several comments from people that weeks 5-6 were just more than they could assimilate. We've learned a ton (both as fledgling open course educators and in terms of how people see the future of education) but what I'd like to do is invite you all to finish out the last nine days of the course with me. I'd like to turn to the idea of scenario planning...
In the interest of keeping re-entry simple (for those of you who've been caught up in other stuff) I'll offer only my day four blog review from my futures course in Singapore. In it, you'll see the scenario writing process in a class as I did it about a month ago with my students in Singapore. Tonight I'll send out another newsletter with suggestions on how we can start to build some interesting scenarios. So just read the blog post, no action required.

Here is an example of a scenario written up by my students in about 6 hours.

Today we'll talk about creating scenarios.
In the next nine days we'll try and make a couple. http://edfuturescenario.wikispaces.com/
